Hey, Devin here. Glad to have you with us.
Looking back on my childhood, some of my favorite memories were standing on the back deck drinking a Pepsi with a squeeze of lime and grilling with my dad. He taught me how to grill steaks, his famous pork and beef burgers, and so much more. He also showed me how to smoke our Thanksgiving turkey on the Weber kettle. I’m sure there are a lot of oven purists out there (haha), but It’s tough to beat a delicious smoked turkey from a charcoal grill. For Katie, her childhood memories were very similar…sitting outside in her dad’s well manicured lawn listening to Cardinals baseball while her dad grilled pork steaks. She still calls it the sounds and smells of summer!
Sadly, both Katie and I lost our dads in our early twenties. To this day, we still cherish the memories we had with them making barbecue around the grill. Grilling is in our blood and it is something that we’re very passionate about. In fact, it’s more than a passion…it’s an obsession. For me, there’s nothing better than sitting outside on a warm summer evening enjoying an ice-cold beverage (or two or three) and grilling up some meat on the grill.
We started Grillaholics with only one objective in mind…to help people like us, the TRUE Grillaholics, create more memories around the grill by making mind-blowing BBQ for friends and family. If you find yourself grilling rain, snow, or shine, you might be a Grillaholic. If you like to grill, you know what I am talking about. The bragging rights that come with that perfectly smoked brisket or those delicious baby back ribs.

Grillaholics is a family owned business located in a small town called New Melle in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri. We got started back in 2014 and launched our very first product while Katie and I were on our honeymoon in Curacao. It’s been a wild ride over the last several years, but one that we have enjoyed and couldn’t have done without awesome customers like you. We are grateful to have you here, and from our family to yours, we’re excited to help you create more memories around the grill with Grillaholics.
The name says it all: Grillaholics. We’re addicted to this stuff.
Our Founders
Devin is the CEO and co-founder of Grillaholics. He got his undergraduate degree from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri with a double major in finance and accounting. He completed a Masters in Accounting from Truman State University in 2009 and began his career as a CPA with PricewaterhouseCoopers. After several years as a corporate zombie running the rat race and trying multiple other businesses and side hustles, Devin found his true calling. After coming across a course on how to build a brand leveraging Amazon, Devin and his wife Katie (fiance at the time) started Grillaholics with their best selling Grillaholics Grill Mat. While Devin grew up learning how to cook and grill with his dad, his love of grilling fully matured through the growth of Grillaholics. He started out grilling easy things like steak, burgers, chicken, hot dogs, and brats and found himself grilling all the time regardless of the weather outside. As he got more comfortable around the grill he started learning more and more about grilling and smoking and often spends time on the weekend smoking meats like bacon, brisket, ribs, and pork shoulders. When he’s not working or grilling, Devin enjoys watching movies with Katie and their two old english sheepdogs, playing pool and blackjack, and training tactical pistol and rifle on the range with his shooting buddies.
Katie is our C.H.O, Chief Happiness Officer at Grillaholics. She is a self-identified EXTRA-vert and thrives off interactions with our customers. She grew up in the suburbs of St. Louis as the second oldest in a family of four girls and earned the title of ‘chatter box’ from her kindergarten teacher. She wears this badge proudly and to this day has never met a stranger. Through her late teens and early 20’s, she worked in the service industry at her family’s restaurant where she perfected her role in customer service. She spends most of her time as a fur-mama to Daisy and Duke, the two “goodest dogs” in the world and tending to her ever-growing backyard garden. Her greatest passion in life is serving people and making them laugh. She volunteers weekly at the local Farmer’s Market to help bridge the gap for folks who do not have access to fresh meat and produce. Above all else, she is a God-fearing patriot. She grew up in the home of a veteran who taught her to honor those who fight for our freedom, to stand for the flag and kneel before the cross. Her love of BBQ comes from cherished memories of her dad grilling on summer nights and Cardinals baseball on AM radio, “how ‘bout them birds!”. Though he is no longer here, his memory and legacy will live on forever in everything we do at Grillaholics. You can bet on it.
