- 2 pounds grass-fed ground beef
- 4 oz. bleu cheese, crumbled (set some aside to top burgers if desired)
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 ½ tsp sea salt
Place the ground beef, bleu cheese, pepper, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and egg in a large bowl. Get your hands in there and mix it up – caveman style. Don’t be a nancy about it. Cover and throw it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Gently form burger mixture into 6 hunks of meat (patties are for girls). Preheat grill to high heat (just under 500 degrees F). Toss your Grillaholics Grill Mat on your grilling surface.
Grill burgers 5 minutes per side or until they have reached your desired cook…pink or no pink, the choice is yours. Top burgers with some bleu cheese for the last few minutes if you want a little extra.
Call your friends or some ladies and serve-up bleu cheese deliciousness on your favorite buns (toast the buns on the grill for a few minutes for extra awesome points) with your choice of toppings. We like chipotle mayo on a pretzel bun with pickles…you may or may not be as sophisticated, just saying.
Stuff pie hole.
Pat yourself on the back for a job well done and think about what you’re grilling next…you’re a Grillaholic.
